About the Photographer

Jeffery Smith Ph.D. Is an award-winning photomicrographer whose photographs seem international in print, film, and digital media. Jeffery acquired technical education in specialised microscopies* at the same time as incomes his undergraduate and graduate stages at the University of Washington in Seattle. In the path of his research, and all through the research profession that followed, talent as a microscopist allowed him to make considerable contributions within the fields of botany, microbiology and neurobiology. Collaborative efforts with fellow researchers produced outcomes in different disciplines of science (such as zoology, microbiology, and substances technology). Fifty research papers authored or co-authored via Jeffery appear in scientific journals between 1973 and 2004.
Jeffery now not best values the scientific records that microscopy yields, however delights in the splendor of microscopic form. Through the years he has assembled a giant collection of light and electron microscope images (micrographs). Many of the electron micrographs had been colorized and are supplied for viewing in the Image Library.
Jeffery Smith, previously of the University of Hawai’i, Honolulu (1993-2000) and previously of the University of Washington, Seattle (1976-1993) mounted Jeffery Smith Microscopy, Inc. In 2000.
Jeffery Smith Microscopy, Inc. Gives microscopy services, as well as an intensive collection of clinical images for certified (rights controlled) use (Image Use), (Assignment Photography).
